Polk TPO and Transportation Safety LEADS Team hosted a series of three “Speak Up for Safer Streets”

In Spring 2026, the Polk TPO and Transportation Safety LEADS Team hosted a series of three “Speak Up for Safer Streets” community workshops to gather public input and raise awareness about critical safety needs:

  • Rifle Range Road Corridor, Wahneta Elementary School
  • 42nd Street Corridor, Lake Ariana Civic Center
  • Kathleen Road Corridor, Sleepy Hill Elementary School

These workshops provided residents with an opportunity to share concerns, identify safety challenges, and help shape future improvements.
