The Team has shared a collection of resources and lessons designed for physical education teachers to easily access to teach our elementary and middle school students regarding pedestrian and bicycle safety. This curriculum aligns with the FDOE curriculum standards and collection was developed as a part of a project from a Safe Routes to School grant. Team members including a Polk County Public Schools curriculum specialist together with the TPO Staff and consultants to develop an accessible resource site for our schools and community. During the development, feedback was solicited from PCPS district teachers and administrators which led to emphasis being placed on Kindergarten through 8th-grade class lesson plans.
