The joint boards of the Citrus Connection, Polk Transit Authority, & Board of County Commissioners will be seeking public input on the My Ride countywide transportation plan which contains public transit access for each of the 17 municipalities in Polk County, Poinciana, Sunday service, access for second & third shift workers, Tampa & Orlando Airport Express, James Haley VA, Disney World & unincorporated Polk County as well as funding strategies.  The joint work group is also set to discuss roads, bridges, sidewalk, and multi-use trails expansion & funding.

Attendance in-person is highly recommended.  If you cannot attend, please submit comments to be read into the public record by emailing cwolosin@ridecitrus.com

An interactive webcast is available at www.polk-county.net/icast. During the webcast, the public comment portion is limited to three minutes per resident. Online participants must submit their full name, address and comment. Comments should be limited to 250 words or less in order to meet the time parameters. Once received, county staff will relay the comments to the board during the public comment portion of the meeting agenda.
